The summer allows adults and kids more time to read. Take advantage of that time to create a fun summer reading list for you and your family. It’s fun to talk about books with friends and family. So take a break from streaming, get outside, and read a book.

From Entertainment, Everything we know about HBO’s sleazy music industry drama The Idol. “Lily-Rose Depp will play a pop star while the Weeknd transforms into a cult leader in the Sam Levinson–directed series.“

Shooting Stars (biography film), a film about a young Lebron James and his three best friends as they become the number one high school team in the country.
Paramount+: New on Paramount+ in June
iCarly (Season 3 premiere), A former teen internet sensation and her friends navigate the challenges of adulthood. Sometimes they get it right and sometimes things get kinda wacky.
Queen of the Universe (season 2 premiere), A global singing competition featuring the most talented drag queens from around the world. Each episode features a musical performance by the contestants, live in front of the Pop Diva Panel, in hopes of being crowned Queen of the Universe.
Love ALLways (reality), Pansexual bachelorette seeks a soulmate with the help of her coaches in a house full of potential suitors. Drama arises as contestants fall for each other.
Apple TV+: What’s new on Apple TV+ this month (June 2023)
In Theaters:

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (animated action/adventure), sequel to the 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders. He must soon redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

The Boogeyman (horror/mystery), based on a lesser-known Stephen King short story. High school student Sadie Harper and her younger sister, Sawyer, are still reeling from the recent death of their mother. They’re not getting much support from their father, Will, a therapist who’s dealing with his own intense pain. When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their house seeking help, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.

A Chaise Lounge if you love to lie on your stomach while on the beach but wish it was more comfortable. This chair has an opening for your face and arms, which means you can now comfortably read a book while lying facedown.

Red Bull diving event – Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series at the ICA

Downtown Boston block party – An emerging restaurant hub in Downtown Crossing will turn into Boston’s first open air food and drink promenade this weekend during a free two-day block party held on Saturday, June 3 from 12-8 pm and Sunday, June 4 from 12-6 pm.
