July marks the breadth of the summer, school is out, and families are ready to travel. The fourth of July weekend can be the start of summer trips.

Getting ready for summer trips requires some planning and helpful products. I’m going to share some tips and products I’ve read about.

Netflix: New on Netflix in June 2023 and Full List from Vulture

Films:

Sarah Snook in the Australian thriller “Run Rabbit Run,” premiering on Netflix.

Run Rabbit Run (horror/thriller), A single mother grows increasingly unsettled by her young daughter’s claims to have memories of another life, stirring up their family’s painful past.

Taylor Mac’s 24-Decade History of Popular Music (documentary film), Captures Taylor Mac’s exuberant, blatantly gay 24-hour musical performance in New York City, featuring skilled musicians, creative costumes, and the American myth as recounted through sailor’s ditties, disco, and sugary pop alike.

Jack Ryan (Fourth and final season), Based on the world-famous series of books by renowned author Tom Clancy and starring Krasinski as the titular character, Season 4 opens up most dramatically with our hero in the middle of his most dangerous mission yet. Though we’re unsure how he got to where he is and the amount of torture the former U.S. marine turned intelligence officer can withstand, it’s a fitting cold open for the biting series. Boston Harborfest

Fireworks: Visible from several vantage points along the Inner Harbor, the Harborfest Fireworks return to provide a spectacular display for all to enjoy. The fireworks will be launched from a barge at Boston’s Long Wharf. Saturday July 1st at 9:15 PM

Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular: the Hatch Memorial Shell on the Charles River Esplanade. The concert starts at 8pm and ends at 10:30pm with a fireworks display from 10:30-11pm (subject to change). In addition to watching the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular on July 4 on Bloomberg Television, the show will be simulcast on Boston’s WHDH-TV. Nationally, the concert can be found on SiriusXM channel 119, online at bloombergradio.com, and via mobile on the Bloomberg and iHeartRadio apps.
