Labor Day is quickly approaching, indicating the unofficial end of summer. Kids are going back to school, and parents are going back to work.
As summer vacations end, it’s time to get ready to return to the office or work at home.
Some things you can do to get ready for the office include:

- The Morning Show (Strong female characters, great fashion, and drama, on Apple TV+)
- Black-ish (Family and work comedy, great fashion, explores racial issues at the workplace, on Hulu and Disney)
- Loot (Strong female lead, great fashion, and comedy, on Apple TV+)
Honorable mentions: The Bold Type (female leads, great fashion, on Hulu), Severance (dramatic take on the work/life balance, on Apple TV+), Mad Men (drama and 60s fashion on AMC+), and The Mary Tyler Moore Show (a comedy with a female lead, covering topics ahead of its time, on Prime Video and Hulu). These shows are worth watching, even if you no longer work in an office.

A Tie:
I was out with a friend recently, and we talked about an outfit she was considering for a Zoom meeting. She wanted to wear a shirt and tie, a look inspired by Jenna Lyons. I loved the idea!
First, who is Jenna Lyons? She was the former president and creative director at J.Crew; she is a new housewife in The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo. She had a series on HBO Max, Stylish with Jenna Lyons. She is considered a fashion icon. I’m a fan of her style on the show.
