One: Five Steps to Live in a Cheesy Christmas movie
I started my Christmas Countdown in October. Some might think that’s too early, but to my surprise I enjoyed watching Christmas movies before Halloween came around.
Now that it’s November, I can truly embrace the Christmas spirit. Sorry, Thanksgiving.
I have watched eight cheesy Christmas movies and learned a lot about getting into the Christmas spirit. I will share a few things I learned while watching these movies to help you fully embrace the Christmas season.

The Christmas Countdown is in full swing. Each week, I will let you know about the premieres of the new Christmas movies.

Mystery on Mistletoe Lane, New to town, Heidi Wicks (Erica Cerra) and her kids Annie and Garrett (Juliette Hawk and Logan Pierce) discover a Christmas mystery in their historic home. Local handyman and historian David (Victor Webster) helps along the way, finding his own surprising connection.

Everything Christmas, Lori Jo’s (Busby) love for Christmas takes her on a road trip to Yuletide Springs with her roommate Tori (Barrell), where Christmas is celebrated year-round, to participate in a longstanding town tradition to honor her late grandmother. Along the way, the friends meet Carl (Sevier) and Jason(Wells), and the foursome make stops during their journey to enjoy more small-town Christmas attractions. But when a series of events puts a damper on their plans, a little Christmas magic
may put this trip back on the right path.
Christmas Island (Nov. 11, 8 p.m. ET/PT, Hallmark Channel), When a snowstorm diverts Kate’s (Skarsten) first private flight en route to Switzerland to Christmas Island, she must team up with an air traffic controller (Walker) to secure her dream job as the family’s pilot.
A Heidelberg Holiday (Nov. 12, 8 p.m. ET/PT, Hallmark Channel), Heidi Heidelberg (Mason) receives the dream opportunity to sell her beautiful, handmade glass ornaments at the prestigious Heidelberg Christmas Market in Germany. While there, she meets Lukas (Brossier), a local artisan who helps her reconnect with her lost heritage.

The Killer (thriller/crime 2023 film), Solitary, cold, methodical and unencumbered by scruples or regrets, a killer waits in the shadows, watching for his next target. Yet, the longer he waits, the more he thinks he’s losing his mind, if not his cool. David Fincher directs this film starring Tilda Swinton and Michael Fassbender.

Defending Your Life (1991 film starring Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep), In an afterlife way-station resembling a major city, the lives of the recently deceased are examined in a court-like setting. One of my favorite Albert Brooks movie.
