“Christmas was on its way. Lovely, glorious, beautiful Christmas, upon, which the entire kid year revolved.”— Ralphie, “A Christmas Story”

One: Holiday Movie Update

I’m one month into my Christmas Countdown movie-watching. I’ve watched ten movies out of the twenty-three new movies released. I wondered if I could tolerate this many holiday movies this early in the season, but I’ve enjoyed them.

All of the movies except one are Hallmark movies. I’m honestly impressed with the quality. Watching these movies is a good escape. Spoiler alert: Everything works out in the end.

When a house on the block goes up for sale, it causes quite a stir with residents. When the soon-to-be neighbors turn out to be holiday royalty (Morris, Aspen), it looks like this year’s competition is about to heat up. As the welcoming committee prepares for the new arrivals, only one thing is certain – this Christmas, Evergreen Lane is going to sleigh!”
