Clown in a Cornfield (R 2025 ‧ Horror/Slasher), Looking for a fresh start, Quinn and her father move to the quiet town of Kettle Springs. They soon learn the fractured community has fallen on hard times after losing a treasured factory to a fire. As the locals bicker amongst themselves and tensions boil over, a sinister, grinning clown emerges from the cornfields to cleanse the town of its burdens, one bloody victim at a time.

Juliet & Romeo (PG-13 2025 ‧ Musical/Romance), Based on the real story that inspired Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, follows the greatest love story of all time, set as an original pop musical.

Taking place around Christmas in 1985, the serene and snow-dusted atmosphere of the film’s setting is put at stark contrast with the secrets lurking within the convent in town.

Fear Street: Prom Queen (R 2025 ‧ Horror on Netflix May 23rd), based on the novel The Prom Queen from the Fear Street book series. It is the fourth installment in the Fear Street film series.
Mountainhead (comedy/satire on Max May 30), a satire movie from “Succession” creator Jesse Armstrong about a group of tech billionaires (Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Cory Michael Smith and Ramy Youssef) on a snowy, mountain retreat as the world burns.

Carême (drama series on Apple TV+, premieres April 30th), The world’s first celebrity chef, Antonin Carême rises to the height of culinary stardom in Napoleon’s Europe; his talent attracts the attention of politicians who use him as a spy for France.

Forever (Teen drama series on Netflix May 8th), Reunited as teens, two childhood friends fall deeply in love, experiencing the joy and heartache of a first romance that will change their lives forever. Adaptation of Judy Blume’s novel of the same name.

Bad Thoughts (comedy series on Netflix May 13th), In this six-episode dark comedic series, Tom Segura navigates unthinkable situations and fantasies within a cinematic world.
Overcompensating (comedy/drama on Prime Video on May 15), A joint production with A24, this ensemble comedy follows the college adventures of Benny, a closeted former football player and homecoming king, and Carmen, an outsider who desperately wants to fit in.

🚨🕵🏼♂️Duster (2025 ‧ Thriller Series premieres on Max May 15), J.J. Abrams returns to the small screen with a new Max drama series that reunites him with “Lost” star Josh Holloway. However, he’s trading in sci-fi intrigue for groovy action in this retro crime thriller steeped in ’70s charm. In the 1970s, a getaway driver encounters a tenacious FBI agent who wants to take his crime family down.

Motorheads (drama series on Prime Video on May 18), Set in a once thriving Rust Belt town, Motorheads, starring Ryan Phillippe as a former NASCAR mechanic who owns an auto repair shop, is an adrenaline-filled story of unlikely friends with a mutual love of street racing.
🚨🔥Murderbot (Thriller series premieres on Apple TV+ on May 23), A thriller/comedy series starring Alexander Skarsgård as a combat robot that gains self-awareness and free will, but has to hide it from humans as he carries out dangerous missions while wishing he could just binge-watch TV

Tyler Perry’s She the People (comedy series on Netflix), In Perry’s first comedy series on Netflix, Terri J. Vaughn stars as a politician who wins her election — and then realizes her new job will involve a lot more than what she originally signed up for. The 16 episodes in Season 1 will premiere in two batches. Part 1 will debut May 22, with Part 2 releasing Aug. 14.

🔥Sirens (comedy series on Netflix May 22), Worried about her sister’s too-close relationship with her billionaire boss, a scrappy everywoman seeks answers at a lavish seaside estate.

Adults (comedy series premieres on FX, Hulu May 28), a comedy series about a group of codependent twentysomethings navigating adulthood.

🚨The Better Sister (thriller series on Prime Video on May 29), Based on the novel by Alafair Burke, this eight-episode thriller chronicles the relationship between Chloe (Jessica Biel), a high-profile media executive who lives a picturesque life with her family, and Nicky (Elizabeth Banks), who struggles to make ends meet and stay clean, as tragedy reunites the sisters.
🚨🕵🏼♂️Dept Q (Thriller series on Netflix on May 29th), A brash but brilliant detective (Matthew Goode) leads a cold case unit in this Edinburgh-based drama by the writer and director of “The Queen’s Gambit”.
