A British Summer
This month, parts of my blog will spotlight the Brits. One of my favorite books, Thursday Murder Club, has been made into a movie, and this highly anticipated film will stream on Netflix on August 28th. The book takes place in a fictional place outside of London. I enjoy reading books, watching movies, and series set in Britain. I love the accents, British slang, and the scenery. Summer in Britain is similar to summer in the United States; people travel to beaches, go to music festivals, and spend time in local parks. Many tourists visit the UK during July and August. If you can’t take a trip across the pond this summer, you can dress like a Brit and enjoy some British media.
