Where: Boston, MA “little Italy”
When: August 17, 2013
The weather in Boston right now is beautiful. The sun is shining and the temperature is perfect. There are a few traditions I enjoy in my neighborhood this time of year. One thing I love in the north end is the community pool. The summer membership costs $15, the pool is located on the water, and you have to bring your own chair. Today was my first visit to the pool this summer so I opted for the day pass at $3 versus the summer membership. I enjoyed the sun, the breeze, and reading my book on my Kindle.
Later in the day I walked though the Fisherman’s feast taking place on Fleet Street and North Street. At this feast there are tons of vendors supplying Italian treats and meals.
