If September brings us apple season, October brings us pumpkin season. Pumpkin season lasts through November. Keep out the decor and keep baking those pumpkin desserts.

Three: What to wear
From Town & Country, The Most Stylish Quilted Jackets to Wrap Yourself in This Fall. “But if there’s one cold-weather wardrobe staple that’s stood the test of time, it’s the quilted jacket. A quintessential transitional piece, the padded cotton topper with the diamond design are perfect for those in-between fall days when it’s a tad too chilly to step out without an extra layer but still too warm out to wear anything overly puffy.“
Shop at Huckberry: Men’s Quilted Jackets. “From diamond quilted tankers to quilted leather bombers, men’s quilted jackets use techniques that go back centuries and style that developed in England in the 1960s. Since then they’ve become a fall and winter essential, perfectly worn with a sweater, leather gloves, and a scarf on cold days, or over a tee when it’s unseasonably mild. No matter what, they still keep that gentlemanly air about them, which definitely comes in handy when you’re looking for an alternative to your ski jacket on a cold night out in the city.“
