You know her from her movies and successful series, but she is more than a famous actress. Reese Witherspoon has a clothing line, book club, and production company.
Reese: Actress and Producer
In 1990, she landed her first significant acting role in Robert Mulligan’s The Man in the Moon (1991), an excellent movie about family drama and first loves. She continued to act in television shows and films in the early 90s.
From Wikipedia, “In 1996, Witherspoon starred in two major films: the thriller Fear alongside Mark Wahlberg as Nicole Walker, a teenager who starts dating a man with obsessive tendencies, and the black-comedy thriller Freeway, alongside Kiefer Sutherland and Brooke Shields, in which she played Vanessa Lutz; a poor girl living in Los Angeles who encounters a serial killer on the way to her grandmother’s home in Stockton.” In the late 90s, she starred in Pleasantville, Cruel Intentions, and Election.
Her mainstream success came in 2001 when she starred in Legally Blond. Reese’s performance in this movie earned her praise from critics, new fans of her work, and a Golden Globe nomination. In 2006, she won an Academy Award for her performance in Walk the Line.
She’s starred in several rom-coms, dramas, comedies, and animated movies. Read her extensive list of credits on IMDb.

The Morning Show is my favorite television show she has produced and starred in.
Her production company: Hello Sunshine

From Hollywood Reporter: Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter Are Doing Just Fine Without the Boys Club.
Witherspoon owned her own production company in 2000 called Type A Films. The Legally Blond movies were made by this company. “Witherspoon wanted to start her own company to be able to produce quality films for young women.” Wikipedia. Type A Films later merged with another company and was renamed Pacific Standard. In 2016, Reese founded Hello Sunshine and kept Pacific Standard as a subsidiary.
In early August 2021, Witherspoon sold part of the company to a Blackstone backed media company, Candle Media, led by former Disney executives Kevin A. Mayer and Tom Staggs for $900 million. The transaction resulted in Witherspoon and Harden retaining a stake in the new company and a seat on the board. Wikipedia
The movies and television shows created by Hello Sunshine have strong female leads and female-centered stories. From Hello Sunshine, “Hello Sunshine aims to broaden perspective and empower women by giving them authorship, inspiring agency, and creating a platform to help them shape culture and the world around them.“
The Books, Movies, and Series

Hello Sunshine created a book club called Reese’s Book Club. Reese is an avid speed reader. Her book club promotes books written by women.
I have read several of Reese’s picks. See the full list: https://reesesbookclub.com/article/4eRlfCOXueqPrm6ZnQpzwl

Several of Reese’s projects took books and made them into movies or television shows. In my opinion, her movie adaptations were pretty close to the books.

The resulting police pressure and media frenzy cause the Dunnes’ image of a happy union to crumble, leading to tantalizing questions about who Nick and Amy truly are.
