9/22/23
Fall officially begins on September 23rd. It’s time to swap out summer trends for your favorite fall trends. Temperatures start dropping, so we can begin to wear our sweaters, shackets, and sweatshirts.

I have read several articles about fall trends; I had ten tabs open while writing this post. I will write about a few I’ve seen in more than one article and attach the links to the articles if you are interested in reading more.
To summarize a few: the color red, flats (including mary-janes), knits (dresses, cable-knit, sheer, half-zip), oversized (coats, shirts, and blazers), vests (tailored and oversized), denim (skirts, dark, straight-leg, relaxed, cuffed hems), maxi and full skirts, and power suits.
Intriguing honorable mentions include a cape, hair bows, silver jewelry, socks and tights, loafers, and skinny scarves.
You do not need to run out and buy these trends; first, check your closet, and if you’re not a fan of a particular style or color, don’t wear it!

From Rank & Style, How To Shop For A Denim Skirt, No Matter Your Age Or Body Type. “Strong opinion alert: Whether you’re building a capsule wardrobe or you’re looking for a way to add some variety to your lineup of bottom options, a denim skirt is a must-have—period. A quality denim skirt serves as the foundation for a wide variety of outfits. Of course, this style looks great when paired with all of the classics: white tees, button-down shirts, and tank tops. But it can also be dressed up for date night with a statement blouse or paired with a vintage tee and booties for a night on the town.“

This fall you can continue to wear denim on denim, straight-leg and barrel jeans, as well as dark denim.
Knits:
