Wuthering Heights (2026 film on Max May 1st)

Remarkably Bright Creatures (2026 mystery on Netflix May 8th), A widow who works at a local aquarium finds joy again when she forms an unlikely bond with a giant Pacific octopus and a wayward young man who comes to town in search of family. Together, they will uncover a mystery that leads them to a life-changing discovery and restores their sense of wonder. Based on the bestselling novel by Shelby Van Pelt.

Another Man’s Wife (romantic drama on Peacock May 8th), Actor and singer Taye Diggs is Brendan, a millionaire who makes what you might call an “indecent proposal” to a married couple named Maya (Sydney Mitchell) and Shawn (Moritz J. Williams). Per the logline, “One decision sparks a chain reaction that spirals into a high-stakes emotional reckoning about trust, love and the ultimate cost of sacrifice.”

No Place to Be Single (2026 romcom on Prime Video on May 8th), A single mother running a vineyard in Tuscany is the only person in town not looking for love… until a childhood friend she lost touch with years ago, turns her life upside down and awakens new and unexpected feelings. Based on the novel by Felicia Kingsley
Lurker debuts on HBO Max on May 15th

Jack Ryan: Ghost War (action/thriller on Prime Video on May 20th), Jack Ryan returns to Prime Video for this feature film, where the titular hero is forced back into the world of espionage to confront a rogue black-ops unit. Ryan reunites with friends from the original series as well as a new and unlikely partner.
Arco (on Hulu May 22nd), an Academy Award nominee for best animated Feature, this French fantasy film begins in the year 2932, when humans live in the sky and have developed time-travel technology.
The Moment premieres on HBO Max on May 29th

Miss You, Love You (HBO Original on May 29th, 2026 drama), A widow plans her husband’s funeral. Estranged son sends an assistant instead of coming himself. The widow grieves with a stranger.
Propeller One-Way Night Coach (drama/family 2026 film on Apple TV May 29th), based on Travolta’s 1997 book. Follows young aviation enthusiast Jeff and his mother on a cross-country flight to Hollywood that transforms into a life-changing journey filled with unexpected moments.

Legend ( 6-part gangster thriller series on Netflix on May 7th) As drugs flood the streets of ’90s Britain, a team of civil servants is thrust undercover to topple the gangs behind it. Inspired by an untold true story.

The Chestnut Man: Hide and Seek (on Netflix May 8th), After a woman goes missing, the Copenhagen police hunt a stalker who taunts victims with a chilling children’s rhyme. Based on the Søren Sveistrup novel Hide and Seek.

Off Campus (college romance series premieres on Prime Video on May 13th), based on the best-selling five-book series by Elle Kennedy, Off Campus follows an elite ice hockey team at Briar University and the women in their lives as they grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery.

The Punisher: One Last Kill (special episode on Disney+ on May 12th), as Frank Castle searches for meaning beyond revenge, an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.

Nemesis (drama series on Netflix on May 14th), A relentless LAPD cop becomes obsessed with taking down the master thief behind a string of daring heists — and only one can come out on top.
It’s Not Like That (drama series on Prime Video on May 15th) explores multigenerational family dynamics and the complexities of rebuilding life after loss: a pastor who is a recently widowed dad of three and a new divorcee with two teens. Her mother, Orna (Liraz Chamami), refuses to accept the charges — but her fight for Gali’s freedom pulls her into a deadly web of crime and corruption.
Song of the Samurai (drama series premieres on Max May 9th) is a live-action jidaigeki series rooted in one of Japan’s most enduring manga franchises. based on the popular manga Chiruran: Shinsengumi Requiem
Dutton Ranch (drama series premieres on Paramount+ May 15th), Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton gamble everything on a new life in South Texas, but the promise of building a future far from the ghosts of Yellowstone quickly collides with new realities and a rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire.
