Favorite outfit

I believe that when a person looks good, they feel good. That statement is definitely true with me. I love it when an outfit I have chosen looks great; this puts me in a great mood. I also enjoy the compliments that come from a well chosen outfit. Who doesn’t love a nice compliment?

I can remember outfits, or parts of outfits from many years ago that I have loved. A jacket, dress, pair of jeans that I wear until I no longer can.  Some of my favorite dresses include a black and white BCBG sleeveless, a black button up sleeveless, and a flowered dress from Banana Republic. A dress is my go to outfit starter. Adding different shoes, sweater, jacket, jewelry can then change the look. I have purchased dresses from many different retailers. You can buy casual cute at Ann Taylor Loft, TJ Maxx, H & M and then dress up the outfit with some fun jewelry like a cocktail ring or a statement necklace. For fancier dresses I go to Lord and Taylor or Nordstrom.

Flip through magazines and check out what the celebrities are wearing for styling ideas. You can find similar looks without spending a lot of money. I enjoy checking out the outfits that Kate Middleton wears. Check out the article below to see how she styles two different dresses.

  1. I’m obsessed with Kate middeltons outfits!! It’s so true I remember gap kids and the clothes I HAD to have and begged my mom for. I even remember getting matching outfits with my friends. Clothes definatley leave a lasting impression and remind you of different points in our lives.. Even now when we tell stories I usually follow up with ” I even remember what I wore”

  2. Just received a sale flyer from Lord & Taylor today with 3 Kate Middleton type dresses (by Morgan McFeeters, and LBD Laundry). The model even resembled Kate! She is a trendsetter to watch! I love that she is inspiring pretty and practical looks.

  3. Hello there! This blog post couldn’t be written
any better! Reading through this post reminds me of my previous roommate!
He constantly kept preaching about this. I will send this post to him.
