Where: Boston to Connecticut to New York to New Jersey

My relatives are vacationing in Long Beach Island New Jersey. I decided to take a last minute trip to stay with them for a few days. Today’s post is about my trip to New Jersey.
I managed to get a fairly early start; I hit the road with my venti coffee at around 7:45 AM. I chose my usual Boston to NJ route. I take the Mass Pike to 84 to 91 to 15/Merritt Parkway over the Tapanzee Bridge to 287 and then my last highway was the Garden State Parkway. The traffic wasn’t too bad until I got close to the bridge but even that traffic wasn’t too bad. The rest of my trip was smooth and traffic free. I love these kinds of road trips!

I arrived in time to go to the beach! I realized I was in desperate need of a tan! We had a few hours of sun time before heading back to the house to shower. We had a nice dinner at Cafe Aletta and then did some shopping near the restaurant. I bought some bright sunglasses and a magnet.
