The first day of fall is September 22, 2022. Fall is my favorite season. I love the cooler temperatures, the changing color of the leaves, and the cozy clothing items I wear on repeat.
The few weeks leading up to the official start of fall can include some pleasant weather days in the northeast.
I’ve created a list of five basic pieces men and women can wear from the end of summer into the fall. These pieces can be worn alone with other styles or combined.
One: White Tank Top
A white tank top is a classic piece worn on its own or worn as a basic outfit layer.

Women:
A simple cotton white tank is typically inexpensive and a great piece to use as a primary layer. For women, there are dressier versions of the white tank available.

The blazer or suit jacket isn’t just for wearing in the office. It is a great layering piece that you can dress up or down.
