“There are three hundred and sixty-four days when you might get un-birthday presents, and only one for birthday presents, you know.” Lewis Carroll
One: Birthday Celebrations

Today is my birthday. As the above quote mentions, we have one day a year to celebrate. (Technically, you can celebrate for more extended periods, but you only get one official day) How do you like to celebrate your birthday? I’ve had many fun celebrations over the years.
I wrote about some of my favorite celebrations and other ways to make your day special: https://lifestyleofafashionista.com/2022/09/30/birthday-celebrations/

Three: What to wear
The letter jacket (varsity jacket)- I never earned a varsity jacket when I went to school; I didn’t play a sport to earn a letter, and I never dated the jock who might lend me his jacket. So maybe this is why I love this trend: I finally get to wear the letter jacket.

Four: What to Try
Make a photo album:

Do you remember when people made photo albums? Before, everything was digital. You developed your pictures, bought an album, and carefully placed your photos with handwritten descriptions.
You can still create albums like these classics, but you can also use a website to turn your digital photos into a book without yellowing pages!
I use Shutterfly for my projects: https://www.shutterfly.com/

Five: What to do
Volunteer:
One of my favorite birthday celebrations was arranging a group volunteer activity at The Boston Food Bank. We put together boxes of food.
