I have plans to write about Christmas decor, movies, and traditions in December, but you can start getting ready for holiday fun now. I know some people start celebrating and preparing for Christmas on November 1st; I’ve seen the posts on Instagram.

Advent calendars typically hold 24 or 25 treats in them. Some of the calendars in these lists cover fewer days. When I was a kid, we would get the calendar filled with small pieces of chocolate. I loved the daily ritual of enjoying that small treat. These calendars have various products, some high-end, and all family members can find a calendar to enjoy.

Oprah: It’s here! Oprah’s favorite things list. Do you remember when she would reveal these products on her show, and the audience would go home with everything on the list? Those days are long gone, but Oprah releases her list every year. She typically includes some small businesses as well as big brands.
