A monochrome outfit is a full dress combination (usually including headwear, purse, footwears, and other accessories) that uses only variations of a single color, usually differing only in lightness and darkness. Wikipedia

I’ve recently seen many stylish monochrome outfits on celebrities, on television, and in person on strangers; this has inspired the topic for this week.

I’ve worn monochrome outfits but tend to stick to all-black ensembles. An all-black outfit is a go-to for me, and if you have a primarily black wardrobe, you can pack fewer items on a trip. However, I haven’t mastered packing fewer items because I add pops of color to my black outfits, and I overpack.

I would like to attempt more monochrome outfits with different colors.

An easy way to test the monochrome look is with activewear. I attended a yoga retreat earlier in the year, and one of the attendees wore several outfits in all one color; I loved her looks.
